About the Artist

 Welcome! I’m Carla, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I'm an oil painter and ceramic artist inspired by the organic elegance of nature. I find endless aspects to explore artistically from the beauty of a single bloom, to the branches of a tree, a breathtaking landscape or elegantly formed platter for your table. After 25 years, I closed the door on my career in technology and became a full-time artist excited to pursue the work I’d only dreamed of. Four years on, I now spend my days taking thousands of pictures of flowers in our backyard, playing Candy Crush while I wait for paint to dry, or elbow deep in clay as I listen to an audiobook at double speed.
